Carrickfinn Bach  is situated in the beautiful Gweedore Bay right behind  Donegal Airport, which has been voted second most scenic landing strip in the world. The beach is a long stretch of white sand beach backed by sand dunes. The beach currently has Blue Flag status. It is also known as Dunmore Strand.

It offers safe bathing and lovely walks.
