Carrickfinn Beach is situated in the beautiful Gweedore Bay right behind Donegal Airport, which has been voted the second most scenic landing strip in the world. The beach is a long stretch of white-sand beach backed by sand dunes. The beach currently has Blue Flag status. It is also known as Dunmore Strand.
