Downings beach is located in the village of Downings (Na Dunaibh) on Donegal’s Rosguill Peninsula. It faces into Sheephaven Bay and is popular for swimming and various water-sports. It is a Blue Flag beach and lifeguards are on duty during the summer months.

Easy from various access points. Downings is busy in summer months but the beach is so large there is plenty of room.
