Carrickfinn Peninsula is surrounded by beautiful golden strands. Most visitors will visit the Carricfinn beach to the West of Donegal Airport. If you continue North on the peninsula you will pass the long Braade Strand to the East of the airport and at the tip of the peninsula is the quieter and lovely Dunmore Strand. There are excellent views across the bay to Magheraclogher Beach at Bunbeg and Gweedore.

Accessibility

Easy from the roadside but limited parking. The road to the strand is narrow but not usually busy.
