Fahan Beach and marina sit at the start of the Inishowen Peninsula, 5km south of Buncrana. This is a lovely spot to to enjoy the quiet of a beach walk. Often missed by visitors heading towards Inishowen’s better know attractions. In Irish, Fahan is named after a patron saint, Saint Mura, first abbot of Fahan, an early Christian monastery.
