This beautiful beach is the best known in the Gweedore area of Donegal. Stranded on the beach is the wreck of Bád Eddie (Eddie’s boat). It has has been here since the 1970’s and is one of the best known landmarks in Donegal, having been featured in music videos and as the backdrop for many a wedding photograph and tourist snap.
The beach is shallow for paddling but further in the channel bathing is dangerous.
