This is a golden sandy beach near Dunfanaghy (also known as Dunfanaghy Beach) in the northern coast of Donegal.  It is safe for swimming, and for all water sports. It is a blue Flag beach and during the summer months there are life guards on duty throughout the day. The beach is over 1km long so it rarely feels crowded. The village of Dunfanaghy  is less than a kilometrer away.

You can access the beach by driving down the road through the golf course, which is just on the edge of the town.
