Rossnowlagh blue flag beach is only 8 kilometres south of Donegal Town, and has soft, golden sand and lovely views across Donegal Bay. It stretches about 4km (2.5 miles) in length. Rossnowlagh is very popular with both locals and tourists. It is safe for bathing and a popular destination for surfers, especially beginners. Great for long beach walks.
