This is a beautiful long sandy beach about 7km long. Ideal for walkers. From the beach you can enjoy views to the Muckish mountains and to Trabeg ,the smaller beach that is alongside The Downings. There is a parking area next to Rosapenna Golf Club but you can also access the beach from a boardwalk at Aughadahore near Carrigart. Map reference 55.1457634,-7.8397104
