This one is for walkers. (The images here are from local sources and will be updated after lockdown eases).

Tramore Beach is a beautiful golden strand on the fascinating Horn Head peninsula. From Dunfanaghy take the signposted road to Horn Head and using the map below follow the road to a left turn with no signage indicating what lies beyond. If you take this road you will arrive at a woodland car park. From here there is a 45 minute walk taking through forest and  a way-marked path. Eventually you reach the stunning view that is Tramore Beach. There is plenty more walking to do so be prepared for an energetic day out ……………and bring refreshments. !!!!!It is well worth the visit.

Accessibility

A long walk, as mentioned above,  but suitable for anyone of moderate fitness.
