Tramore Strand sits in Loughros Bay, Co. Donegal with lovely views across the bay to Adara and Slievetooey Mountain. It is a bit of a hidden gem and not as well known as some of Donegal’s more famous beaches but well worth a visit. The long golden beach has sand dunes and rockpools. Tramore means big beach in Irish. It comprises over 3 miles of sandy beach with sand dunes and cliff walks.
