Tramore Strand sits in Loughros Bay, Co. Donegal with lovely views across the bay to Adara and Slievetooey Mountain. It is a bit of a hidden gem and not as well known as some of Donegal’s more famous beaches but well worth a visit. The long golden beach has sand dunes and rockpools. Tramore means big beach in Irish.  It comprises over 3 miles of sandy beach with sand dunes and cliff walks.

Easy access from parking area and a short walk through the sand dunes.
