Just up the road from Bundoran is Tullan Strand, a really beautiful beach. No fun fair and arcades here just 2km of golden beach stretching from the north end of Bundoran to the Erne Estuary at Ballyshannon and great for beach walking. It is popular with swimmers and surfers but the area along the cliffs is notorious for rip currents and under-currents and is really not suitable for swimming. Bathing is safer further along the beach.

Short walk from car park along a fairly steep rough path but well worth the effort.
